This piece has been designed specifically for the Backhand 4 event at Centrespace Gallery Bristol. The theme of the exhibition was ‘Cracking’. This digital collage is made from a combination of scanned imagery, 3D design and photoshop.

The artwork confronts the tension between human creativity and machine learning, questioning what it means to transfer, replicate, or extract understanding in a world increasingly mediated by technology. It’s a meditation on curiosity, dependency, and the evolving landscape of intelligence.
